There are many markets, stores, boutiques and shopping malls to visit around Hobart. To the east of Hobart, across the Derwent River, is the aptly-named Eastlands Shopping Centre. This large shopping mall includes Big W and Kmart department stores, Coles and Woolworths supermarkets and many specialty stores. Banks, furniture, takeaway food, toys, all areas are covered with around one hundred stores. The address of the shopping centre is 26 Bligh Street, Rosny Park.
The Northgate Shopping Centre is located at 387 - 393 Main Road, Glenorchy. This is just north of the city centre of Hobart. The main store at the Northgate Shopping Centre is Target. Over fifty other stores are in the mall.
In the city centre at 70 Murray Street, Centrepoint Shopping Centre has many small stores to visit. Shoes, jewellery, fashion items and food are available. The Elizabeth Street Mall, and surrounding area, are the location for many exciting stores. The Cat and Fiddle Shopping Arcade at 101 Collins Street is another area in Hobart to shop at.
Glenorchy Plaza, at 70 Murray Street, is a shopping centre with a Big W store as its main attraction. There are also various clothing stores and places to buy food.
The tourist areas around Sandy Bay, Salamanca Place and Bellrive also have many shops to visit.
